Assisi: Casa di Ospitalita “Maria Immacolata”

Hello from Assisi !!!What a treat. Assisi is a gorgeous small town, very quiet with beautiful views:

The place where we are staying is Casa di Opitalita “Maria Immacolata” run by the Franciscan sisters. It is a great place to stay in Assisi, great location, clean and the sisters are very friendly. The address is Via San Francesco 13.

Here is the view from my window:

And the view from the terrace:

And now a short walk around Assisi:

Few minutes in the local theater to see the rehearsal:

An excellent restaurant: Ristorante Pizzeria I Monaci

Many Polish Franciscans:

God bless you Janice and Joanna! Joanna, I hope you have made it safely to Ravenna. The airport train to FCO is great! When you arrive at Termini to take the train to the airport, you do not have to exit. My airport train departed from platform 23. There is also an airport train information desk near platform 23. I am now in my hotel about to have dinner. Safe travels!

Thank you Mary Catherine for practical information about the trains. I am enjoying my B&B in Ravenna. It is great. Have a great trip home!

This is the first time I have looked at the “blog”. It is a great record of our trip to Cypress, Malta and Roma.

I hope you have great experiences during your remaining time in Italy.

Thank you Maureen, I am glad you enjoyed. Thank you for the comment. I am in Ravenna now, admiring the Byzantine mosaics this town is famous for. More to come on the blog.

    Hi Joanna,
You are gorgeous and your pictures are beautiful as usual. This is your youngest speaking, I have migrated back to our nest/headquarters until the end of August. Therefore your husband is being taken care of.
He says he wishes to speak to you on the phone. Otherwise he is straight chillen.
