Malta: My dreams come alive

The best way to say goodbye to Malta is to read this poem, written by one of our group members, Nubia. Nubia wrote this poem in Spanish and in English:

Sola

Solitaria y altiva

en medio del azul del mar y el firmamento

está la roca

buscando la unidad y el infinito.

Mis sueños se despiertan

ansiando siempre

esta unidad azul

del infinito

Alone

Alone in the middle of the ocean

the rock stands

pursuing the infinite…

The blue of sea and sky

is only one.

My dreams come alive…

I also want to be one

with the immense blue

of the infinite.

WOW!!! These photos are stunning, but more so, I didn’t know Nubia was such a talented poet! Lovely words, Nubia!! :) Her poem really does capture the feeling of the magnificent surroundings…
