It’s hard to leave Barcelona!

It is very hard to leave Barcelona, especially its spirit of Gaudi who seems to be present everywhere:

It is hard to leave Barcelona without seeing its traditional Sardana dance. We saw this dance here, on Montjuic hill, as a sculpture:

It is hard to leave Barcelona’s amazing modernista architecture (not only Gaudi’s). These buildings never stop surprising us with their unusual forms and decorations.

I opened this door and wanted to take some pictures inside, but the security guard did not let me in. It’s a private property. So I waited patiently outside until somebody else opened the door and took a quick picture to show you how amazing this building is inside:

Another spectacular modernista building:

And another door that I opened, this time the security guard was nice and allowed me to take a picture:

It’s hard to leave Barcelona because of its restaurants and its wonderful food, especially seafood:

It’s hard to leave these beautiful people, who welcomed me in their home and in their hearts.
