Sri Lanka is famous for its fishermen on stilts, it is their traditional way to  catch a fish in a rough sea. This tradition is depicted in their art, especially wood sculptures.

Turtle hatchery: its main goal is to protect young sea turtles. They spend here their first two days:

    Great post again. I was moved to see how human beings work with the natural elements during challenging times, which was shown with the fishermen on stilts. Thank you for the beautiful visuals.
