My Poland this year…
Here are some highlights from my two-week stay in Poland.
My family home and my grand-parents’ house:
My parents working in their garden:
Many meals together with family and friends:
Celebrating Kasia’s birthday (my niece and goddaughter):
Visiting my husband’s parents:
Meeting with sister Jolanta and her student Jessica:
Touring Podlasie (eastern part of Poland, near the border with Belarus) and visiting Polish Orthodox churches:

Listening to this amazing and inspiring Orthodox priest:
Tasting regional dishes in a gorgeous restaurant in front of the palace in Korczew:
Their regional dish is called: Kartacze.
Another big highlight of my trip to Poland was meeting with my two very good friends from elementary school: Bozena and Agnieszka.
Picking flowers for the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on August 15th.
