You don’t love someone for their looks, or their clothes, or for their fancy car, but because they sing a song only you can hear. –Oscar Wilde

Hello from Killarney! it is a very loud town full of tourists and pubs. We were lucky because our accommodation was in a quiet area and our hostess was a very pleasant lady. She even offered a lift for my suitcase and….. for myself.

The town of Killarney is a base to explore Killarney National Park. Ross Castle and Ross Island are located 3km from the town centre. It is a very pleasant walk especially in the evening, when tourists are gone, the forest becomes magical and its inhabitants start to show their cute faces.

Built in the 15th century, Ross Castle adds lots of charm to this part of the park.
