Warsaw stands still for one full minute
Hello from Warsaw. Today is a very important day in the history of this beautiful city. Every year, on August 1, Warsaw stands still for one full minute to commemorate the beginning of the Uprising in 1944, where 200,000 people lost their lives in a battle against the Nazis.
My nephew Jeremi worked as a volunteer to inform the public about the events that took place in this part of the city, in August 1944.
Now, I would like to invite you for a short walk in the heart of Warsaw with my friends Agnieszka and Bozena:

At 8pm, we ended our day by attending a concert dedicated to the Warsaw Uprising. Everyone was encouraged to participate and sing along.
