El Escorial…….

Hello my dear friends, today we have visited some amazing places and had a cute adventure. I will try to describe everything but it all takes time.
We took another organized tour from Madrid, this time we started in El Escorial.
The Royal Site of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, commonly known as El Escorial, is a historical residence of the King of Spain, in the town of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, about 45 kilometres northwest of the capital, Madrid, in Spain. It is one of the Spanish royal sites and functions as a monastery, royal palace, museum, and school.
In other words, El Escorial is a symbol of Spanish royal power combined with the power of the Spanish Catholic Church.
Because it is such an important and powerful place, we were not allowed to take pictures. I was not planning to prepare a post about El Escorial until I saw this:

She looked like a perfect bride, wearing a perfect dress, with a perfect entourage. I could not stop taking pictures of her. The only problem I had was her photographer who was in my way most of the time.

It was like watching Kate Middleton’s royal wedding.

And this was our visit to El Escorial, near Madrid.
Hahaha Mama you were THAT person who keeps shooting over the photographer’s shoulder and getting mad that they have to do their job. There’s always someone like that at every wedding I shoot. 😀
Each place you go to brings back such amazing memories. We also came across a beautiful wedding but can’t remember if it was in Madrid or on another trip in Venice.É
Wish I was with you.
Pam
I know Pam, I wish you were here too, but it is veeeeery hot here, no hope for cooler weather!
